Who is responsible
David Vinu, reachable at info@davidvinu.de. This is a personal site. There is no company behind it and nothing on it is sold.
Visiting the site
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Delivering a page means Cloudflare processes your IP address, the address you requested, the time, and your browser's user agent. This is what makes delivery and protection against attacks possible, and it is the legal basis too: legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Cloudflare acts as a processor under a data processing agreement. Where data reaches the United States, it is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
The contact form
If you send a wish, the name, email address and text you enter are transmitted to my mailbox so that I can read and answer it. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering an enquiry you started, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, and where the exchange leads to an agreement, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Delivery runs through Resend, a processor, in its European region. Your message stays in my mailbox as long as the conversation may still matter, and is deleted afterwards.
The form carries a hidden field that people never see and automated scripts tend to fill in. It exists only to recognise those scripts. Nothing else about you is measured.
What your browser stores
Two entries in session storage remember which quotes this tab has already shown, so the same line does not come back too soon. They contain no personal data, never leave your device, and disappear when you close the tab.
There are no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising and no profiling.
Your rights
You can ask what data is held about you (Art. 15 GDPR), have it corrected (Art. 16), deleted (Art. 17) or restricted (Art. 18), receive it in a portable form (Art. 20), and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). One mail to info@davidvinu.de is enough.
You can also complain to a supervisory authority, either where you live or where I am: the Landesbeauftragter fuer den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Wuerttemberg.
